Fire Warden

The Fire Warden Training Course is designed to provide the specialised knowledge and training required for a person carry out the duties of a Fire Warden. It will raise awareness of fire hazards in the workplace and how an appointed Fire Warden can manage the behaviour of people to ensure a safe method of evacuation ensuring building occupants evacuate safely to the designated fire assembly point. The course also covers the correct and safe use of fire extinguishers.

The Fire Warden Training Course has been designed to meet the requirements of the Fire Services Act 1981 and 2003, regulation 9 of the Safety, Health, and Welfare at Work Act 2005 and (Statutory Instrument) SI 299:2007

  • Preparing for an inspection by a Fire Prevention Officer/HSA

On completion of the course participants will receive a certificate of attendance
